Sevilla have REJECTED a £47 million bid from Chelsea for Jules Koundé.

Bremer to replace De Ligt at Juventus

Inter have been beaten to a deal to sign the Brazilian center-back from Massmiliano Allegri's side. Juventus is set to sign Torino defender Bremer in a deal worth up to €47 million (£40 million or $48 million) to replace Matthijs de Ligt. The Brazilian international had been linked with a move to Juve's Serie A rivals Inter, but GOAL can confirm that the Bianconeri have won the race to sign him. Bremer has already bid his teammates farewell and will join the Bianconeri on Tuesday or Wednesday.

The 25-year-old centre-back will cost Massimiliano Allegri's side an initial €42 million (£36 million or $43 million). Bremer has been signed by the Serie A club to replace De Ligt at the heart of their defence.

Sevilla have REJECTED a £47 million bid from Chelsea for Jules Koundé.

According to 'Marca,' Sevilla have rejected Chelsea's 55 million euro offer for Jules Kounde. His preferred destination is Barcelona, and 'Los Cules' now have more time to out-negotiate the English club and grant his wish.

Sevilla are looking to offload a top player in order to balance their books, and Jules Kounde fits the bill. Barcelona, Chelsea, and PSG all like the defender. Despite his preference for the Catalan capital, the London team is putting in the most effort to secure his signature. This is not to say that "Los Cules" will abandon their fight for him. Chelsea was recently revealed to have made a 55 million euro bid for the defender. This, according to 'Marca,' has been rejected. This means that Barcelona president Joan Laporta now has more time to make his own offer, which could be in the works if players like Frenkie de Jong leave.

The Andalusians understand the importance of moving the player on as soon as possible in order to avoid uncertainty in their squad. However, as he has done in the past, Monchi is willing to play the long game in order to obtain the best possible agreement for his player.

Bayern Munich has signed Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus.

Bayern Munich and Juventus have agreed to a five-year contract worth €80 million (£67.8 million). In 2019, Bayern Munich paid the same fee as Atlético Madrid for defender Lucas Hernández.

De Ligt, 22, joined Juventus from Ajax in July 2019 and has spent three seasons with the Serie A champions.

"I'm overjoyed to be a part of this fantastic club," De Ligt said. "FC Bayern is one of Germany's, Europe's, and the world's most successful clubs." "Right from the start, I felt genuine appreciation from the sports management, coach, and board, which convinced me."

West Ham holds further talks with Jesse Lingard

West Ham have held additional talks about a possible transfer with Jesse Lingard. Lingard is a free agent after leaving Manchester United, and David Moyes is reportedly eager to sign him.

Lingard, who can play as a winger or an attacking midfielder, struggled to find regular playing time at United last season, but he has piqued the interest of Nottingham Forest, who are keeping an eye on the situation.

Lingard is being pursued by a number of clubs, including Everton, Leicester, Newcastle, and Tottenham. MLS clubs and a Saudi Arabian team are also interested. Lingard's demand for £180,000 per week has caused the situation to linger for some time.

THE JOAN GAMPER TROPHY PITS FC BARCELONA AGAINST PUMAS UNAM.

The Joan Gamper Trophy, also known as the Joan Gamper Cup, was established in 1966, with the Blaugrana inviting Anderlecht from Belgium, Nantes from France, and Koln from Germany to the inaugural event. It had four participants until 1997 Barcelona and three other invitees and consisted of two semi-final ties, a third-place playoff, and a final. The Blaugrana won their first championship, defeating Cologne 3-1 in the final. Due to an increased fixture list, the Joan Gamper Trophy underwent changes in 1997, abandoning the previous format in favour of a one-off match style. Furthermore, there is no extra time in the competition, with a penalty shoot-out deciding the winner if the game is tied after 90 minutes. This tournament has drawn teams from all over the world, including fellow Spanish powerhouses Atletico Madrid and Valencia, as well as South American behemoths Boca Juniors, River Plate, and Santos. In 2017, Barcelona invited Chapecoense to the 52nd Joan Gamper Trophy...

WHY IS GHANA GOING TO THE IMF

Ghana's president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has authorised Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta to begin formal discussions with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to help the country's economy. According to a statement issued by the country's information ministry, the order follows a phone conversation between President Akufo-Addo and IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, according to Graphic.com. "The cabinet indicated its support for the decision at a meeting on June 30th, 2022," the statement said on Friday, July 1. "The engagement with the IMF will seek to provide balance of payment support as part of a broader effort to accelerate Ghana's recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and, more recently, the Russia-Ukraine crisis." According to people familiar with the plan, Ghana has postponed this week's mid-term budget review until initial meetings with the International Monetary Fund for an economic programme are completed. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT APPLE'S NEW IPHONE 14 AND 14 PRO

iPhone 14 is only a few weeks away, but leaks have already revealed much of what to expect. According to early reports, the new handset will include significant new features, improvements, and the removal of some well-known design elements. The phone, along with a slew of other products, will be released by Apple in September. But here's everything we know about the iPhone 14, including a possible date for the big Apple event. According to numerous reports, Apple has finally removed the notch that is cut out of the top of the display in the new devices. Instead, all of the components that are hidden there, such as the facial recognition sensor and front-facing camera, could be placed in a small cutout at the top of the screen, allowing the display to extend all the way up. That redesign could be limited to Pro models only. Rumours suggest that regular iPhones will have the same notch as the iPhone 13. Otherwise, the design is expected to stay largely the same. There may be some tw...
